We argue that knowledge should not be locked up at expensive institutes across the world, that every student in the world should have access to the same level of education no matter where they happen to have been born.
No student or teacher need's to reinvent the wheel. Excellent curriculums exist and should be the scaffolding for all educational environments to build on and personalise.
The internet houses a massive amount of educational content, which is brilliant. It does come at a cost however, namely it is extremely difficult to find consistent high quality content across a whole curriculum.
If education were a tree, each student should have solid understanding of the trunk and largest branches before attempting the more specialised smaller branches. Any missing branches however, can make learning more difficult down the line.
We’re not experts in syllabuses, however world class institutions like MIT, Stanford and LSE are. We take their curriculums for subjects such as Psychology, Philosophy and Engineering. We then map our bank of content to the relevant topics and modules within each curriculum.
All course's follow the original curriculum very closely and are easily digested making adding or subtracting modules and/or topics to fit your needs trivial.
Our crawlers traverse the internet gathering only the highest quality audio, video and written material we can find. We are constantly indexing new and better resources so our material always stays up to date.
At the beginning of every course we offer a ‘pre-requisite’ page which points to all prerequisite material and clearly outlines what outcomes students should expect on course completion.
